Data Processing Principles
In the course of your use of the webshop www.shop.eurovision.tv (hereafter ‚(W)webshop) Highlight Event AG, Alpenquai 28a, CH-6005 Luzern ( hereafter ‘we’ or ‘us’ ) will, if need be, deal with your personal data. The handling of this data is performed according to the principles outlined below and in accordance with Swiss data protection laws.
Extent of the Data Processing
You may visit the webshop without providing any personal data. Your personal data will only be used by us when you provide us with it voluntarily to create a user account, for the handling of transactions and when it involves establishing contact.
By providing your personal data, you give us your consent to allow us to use it for the following:
- for information, advertising and marketing purposes, such as to send the newsletter, including the passing on of necessary data to third parties commissioned by us for promotional and marketing activities.
- for handling contracts/transactions including the passing on of the necessary data to third parties commissioned by us for arranging payments, shipping as well as the fulfilment of guarantee or warranty claims.
The third parties commissioned by us (for example, for the dispatch of the newsletter) may only use your data within the scope of orders given by us and not for their own purposes.

In our webshop we use so-called Social Plugins, in other words, extensions of our webshop made available by third parties that enable users to share, comment on and review our content. We do, however, wish to point out that we have no exact knowledge of the content of the data which- via such social plugins and other links- is conveyed to the particular third party. Equally, we are not aware of the extent to which, and in what way, such third parties have access to cookies already installed in your browser or how further cookies are installed. Our webshop contains some features of Facebook Inc. (www.facebook.com). If a Facebook cookie has already been installed in your browser- should you possess a Facebook profile, for example- or if you have visited www.facebook.com-, Facebook is informed of your visit to our webshop. When you are logged in to your Facebook profile, Facebook can connect the visit to our webshop to your Facebook profile. If you click on ‘like’, ‘Share on Facebook’ or similar Facebook buttons, the content of our webshop can, in addition, be linked to your Facebook profile.
Our webshop contains some features of Twitter Inc. (www.twitter.com). If you click on the Twitter symbol, our webshop will be linked to your Twitter account and this link can be made known to other Twitter users. In doing so, data concerning for example; IP address, type of browser, domains looked at, websites visited, Mobile telephony providers, device and application IDs plus search terms to Twitter may be transmitted.
Our webshop contains some features of Google Inc. (www.google.com). When you visit a page on our webshop site which has a Google+ button, Google is informed that you have visited the corresponding page of our shop. When you are logged in to your Google+ profile, your visit to our webshop can, in such circumstances, be linked to your Google+ profile. When using a Google+ button, for example to provide a comment, this information is transferred directly to Google.
Our webshop contains some features of Pinterest Inc. (www.pinterest.com). When you click the ‘Pin it Button’, our webshop will be linked to your Pinterest account and this link can be made known to other users of Pinterest. Under certain circumstances there follows a clear link from your Pinterest account to the browser used. This means that data such as IP address, browser type and settings, referring URL, date and time and the use of the service can be transferred to Pinterest. Depending on the terminal device used; the device type, the operating system, device settings, and device identifications may also be transmitted.
Our webshop contains some features of VKontakte, Ltd. (www.vk.com). If a VKontakte cookie has already been installed in your browser -should you possess a VKontakte profile, for example, or if you have visited www.vk.com-, VKontakte is informed of your visit to our webshop. When you are logged in to your VKontakte profile, VKontakte can connect the visit to our webshop to your VKontakte profile. If you click on ‘like’, ‘comment’ or similar VKontakte buttons, the content of our webshop may, in addition, be linked to your VKontakte profile.
Only in exceptional cases will the whole IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports for us on webshop activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, where this is legally required or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. The IP-address, which is transferred by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
In connection with the statistical evaluation of your visits to the webshop by using Google Analytics, as well as your use of Social Plugins and other links to third parties, we can receive non-personal information from these. An identification of the individual user is however not possible by us.
Right of Access and cancellation rights as well as Opting Out
For all enquiries in relation to information about your stored personal data or its authorisation or deletion, you can contact [email protected] per E-Mail. In case of doubt, we reserve to right to ask for proof of your identity. In cases where we send you information per E-Mail (for example, via the Newsletter), you have the option to prevent the sending of further E-Mails via Weblink.
